| In the processing industries, the increase in the outputs passes by a precise quality control of gases introduced into the engines. It is thus a question of controlling a certain number of gas impurities among which, and of most awkward; oxygen and moisture: -
Manufacture of the semiconductors. -
Welding. -
Heat treatment of metals, glassmaking. -
Liquefaction of air and systems requiring of the gas purifiers. -
Chemical and electrochemical processes. -
Inertage in the chemical, petrochemical industries, etc. | | The range of analyzers O2 uses a standard electrochemical cell "micro fuel". The principle of operation of this cell is a reaction of oxydoreduction. A current is generated at the time of the presence of oxygen in the cell. In the absence of oxygen, no power is generated. Various types of cells exist according to the application traces or percentage, and presence or not of gas such as CO2. | | Advantages of the cell micro-fuel: -
Specific to oxygen whatever the basic gas (N2, H2, CVM, oxide of propylene, hydrocarbons, etc.) -
It is slightly contaminated by gases H2S, and SO2 which require a special cell. -
The ambient temperature has a very weak influence from 0° C to +50°C. -
It is maintenance free, except for a checking of the calibration on the ambient air every 1 to 3 months depending on the operative conditions. |
