Moisture is also an impurity important to control (in pure gases, hydrocarbons, chlorine, etc.):
Two technologies are proposed: -
An analyzer with a alumina probe (AL203). This sensor measures the water capacitance on the walls of the pores of the oxide coating. This makes it possible to measure dew points from -100°C to + 20°C. The use of very fine layers of alumina makes it possible to obtain a better sensitivity, a shorter response time and a better stability. -
An analyzer with an electrolytic cell (P205). This sensor measures the electrical power generated by the dissociation of the water molecule (H2+O2). This method makes it possible to get an accurate and fast measure of the humidity concentration for every kind of gas: -
Pure gases, especially for the medical. -
Corrosive gases such as C12, HCI, F2, etc. -
Natural gases containing H2S. |
